  • 5 days of use and 1/2 full container. So it is doing something!… A LOT of mosquitos/midges but also some moths and other bugs. Hard to say how effective this is on reducing population as I started it 2 months after mosquito breeding season started. Will have to review again next year when I start it up in May… Using the attractant pouch that smells like B.O. and cannot comment on the device on its own but seriously? $20 for a pouch? Let’s bring it down to realistic affordable price like $8… They seem to have improved the catch basin with a quick release to drop bugs into a bag but that also dropped the pouch. So secure the pouch with a twisty or tape so you don’t lose that expensive item… As of now, I can say there is a reduction of bugs attacking me when I go outside but the reduction is only like 25% for now. Too soon for long term assessment but for those on the fence about this product and company paid reviews, this item seems worth it for now. Review to be updated and stars updated in a month and again next year as I can legitimately report it’s effectiveness.

  • I absolutely recommend this product DYNATRAP! No longer do I have to battle fruit flies with pesticides this is a 100% safe alternative that actually WORKS.

  • I got these to get rid of these tiny flys or knats in my house from my house plants and they work even with out the plug in part!

  • I keep this Dynatrap on 24/7. Unlike the outdoor one that doesn’t trap mosquitoes like DynaTrap advertises, this unit is very effective, knats, fruit flys, regular flys. Company lists what the unit and inserts does accurately. I change the glue insert out about every 2 weeks.

  • Easy set up, first night captured lots of mosquitoes and small moths. Bee and butterfly safe screen, silent and safe with no “zapper.”

  • It seems to traps the bugs magically because the annoying flying insects disappear.

  • We use it in our garage. We love working in our garden. But the fresh soil that we buy causes these gnats. So since the garage is dark at night. It catches these little critters so they enter the house. This is over a weeks time. We also put 2 in the house in different locations as backups. The key is use a space in your home that’s dark at night. No lamp or light. It will work. You may need to try a few dark spaces until you find the one that works but they do indeed work.

  • We were having a severe mosquito issue this year. Bought this for the chicken run and after 3 days the population was reduced significantly, after 3 weeks we barely have any at all. Also works to catch moths so after a few weeks we no longer have any tomato hornworms either!

  • I live in Alabama near a storm drain and have had a serious mosquito problem. Every time I stepped outside, I was getting eaten alive. I know DynaTrap has mixed reviews, but I was desperate and decided to try the DT1050-AZSR with the Atrakta lure packet. I set it up yesterday and let it run continuously (as recommended). After just 24 hours, I checked it and was shocked — it had already caught a large number of mosquitoes. There are a few moths and other bugs, but it’s mostly mosquitoes. I’d estimate at least 40, possibly more. So far, I’m impressed. I’ll update after a week, but if you’re struggling with mosquitoes like I was, this is definitely worth trying.

  • Good price, weather resistant, 1 acre coverage, great performance this season

  • Received this yesterday and set it up last night. It definitely works. I’ll bet I caught several hundred mosquitoes and flying bugs in just one night. The plate shows the dried, dead mosquitoes I caught in 30 days. Definitely worth the money and cheaper than fixing my Mosquito Magnet every year

  • I was constantly getting fruit flies and gnats all around my kitchen and it was driving me crazy so I decided to get this little plug-in trap and I’m glad I did that works great. I think it got rid of 95% of my flies within a few days the itself is very discrete and small, which blends in well with my kitchen, it’s silent. There’s no buzzing or zapping or anything. I almost forget it’s there to set up an easy to use. You have to change the every now and then but I have yet to change it. Also, it’s odorless.

  • If you live in Georgia than you know how our gnats get. They are invasive and aggressive. Moved into my new spot and they were everywhere. I was going crazy. I don’t like bugs but I hate gnats the most like cause why they got to get in your face. The Dynatraps are slowly ridding me of these pests.
