It's smaller than similar products and not so fancy - but it works and is less expensive. I have it near my balcony door and it's not too visible, but it does the job catching nats and an occasional fly that sneaks in.

FYI: I live 3 football fields from the marsh on the South Carolina coast. I have the 1-acre DynaTrap Mosquito Magnet that I purchased in March 2021. I do purchase this attractant to use with the DynaTrap. The package says to replace the attractant every 60 days. When you first open the packet............OH MY GOSH.......it smells like someone who has not bathed for a year! I keep track of when I replace thes attractant so I can be sure to replace them every 60 days. I just replaced the attractant on 8/15/2024. I noticed the mosquitos have been worse in the last few days. We are attacked when we go outside! So, I checked the smell of the attractant I had installed. Guess what? No smell, at least that I could smell. So I went ahead and installed the next one. I gave this product 2 stars since it is very smelly when it is first installed but the product does not last for 2 months as the package states. Unfortunately, I have not found an alternative, so I will most likely purchase this again and just replace it every two weeks. BUT, in the meantime, I will be searching for an alternative to this product.

We love to read, hang out, tan, and chill on our deck. This has made the experience so much better. Once the sun goes down all the bugs storm onto our deck, but not anymore!!! It is so peaceful and nice to be able to sit out on the deck at night with out nasty annoying flies!

This was after the first 21 days. I bought this because the flying. insects were so bad no one could sit in the dining area or make food in the kitchen. With no garbage disposal, wrapping unwanted or expired food is paramont.

We used it all of last summer, it worked great. Then the bulb ran out. I ordered it, my husband tried to change it but the top and bottom part around the bulb, that you have to open to replace it, came apart. You can see in Fig 1 what I'm talking about. The little bit about making sure those don't separate is the last line of the instructions in small print. But if you take it apart, and you lose the female part down the slot, you can't just plug it back in. I pulled the female plug out from the casing with needle nose pliers, cleaned out the casing put in the new lightbulb, cleaned the fan too with a toothbrush (carefully!! can't get the wires in the middle wet). I attached a little wire bag closer to the female part so I can easily pull it out if it gets disconnected again. I cleaned the inside of the plug too, it had sat for months disconnected. Once all put back together it worked perfectly. We're in the north east Georgia mountains and bus reign here. When I first called Dynatrap for help on how to fix the fact the plug had been disconnected I was not helped and the staff were rude.

I bought this DynaTrap version instead of the Mosquito Magnet trap version due to cost. This pack is $17.99 and lasts 60 days so the cost per day is .29. The Mosquito Magnet version is a 3 pack for $29.99 and lasts 16 days each and the cost per day is .62. To get it to fit, I folded the packet in to thirds and inserted it in to the opening another reviewer suggested. Don't insert it in to the tube portion that has the suction in that leads to the trap/net. I included a picture for reference. Does this packet work better than the Mosquito Magnet version? Don't know yet. Unless this doesn't work at all, I don't plan on trying the other most expensive version. PSA: Put on gloves before touching this packet. It stinks and the smell get stuck on your fingers. Had to wash them at least three times with hand soap to get the smell off. I don't recommend wandering around in your yard after touching this as there could be residual smells on you that mosquito's smell that you can't! Head indoors after touching!

Worth the money. I just bought the original Dynatrap replacement bulb and this 2 pack bulb replacement bulb for my second Dynatrap. The bulb is identical in color and brightness, I’m extremely happy with this purchase for twice as less. The reference pictures indicate the original Dynatrap bulb on the left and the 2 pack replacement on the right

Possibly the greatest thing ever. Wine flies? Regular flies? An evening with an irresistible light and this deathtrap of a glue page and they're GONE by morning.

Hi All, So I bought this thing back in 2017 and I'm just now writing a review because I'm absolutely frustrated with the, not poor performance, but the no performance on Mosquitos. I bought this unit because I live in West Texas and I am sick and tired of being eaten alive by Mosquitos. Hooked it up and it caught tons of moths at our old house. My wife finally had me take it down because it wasn't working. Well here it is in 2021 and we bought a different house. This year for some reason we have had and continue to have a very wet summer and the Mosquitoes are out in droves. For example last night I went outside around 7:30 PM, (still light outside) to clean the pools filter, (maybe 10 minutes total) and in that short period of time I was bitten 15-20 times, (nothing like itching bumps all over to encourage a restful night of sleep). So I decided to try to hook this thing up again to see if it works. So I got it out of the garage and hooked it up in the back yard. Now you did read the part where I said there are Mosquitos in droves, like clouds of them. The unit ran all night long and it caught a ton of moths, and a few other little bug, but it didn't catch one single itty, bitty teeny, tiny Mosquito, NOT ONE!! This thing is total junk, and it does not work as advertised. I see some positive reviews, not sure where those are coming from, maybe the Mosquitoes are smarter in West Texas. Somebody should probably sue them for false advertising PLEASE do yourself a favor and avoid this device like a plague of Mosquitoes. And it's not cheap, I paid $110.00 dollars for it. Itchy in Texas Update: I called the company prior to posting this review to see if maybe I had a defective unit or if there was something I could do to make it work better. They only suggestion is that I buy their expensive packets of attractant to try and lure mosquitos into the trap, which of course even if it works has to be replaced every 30-60 days. I read reviews of the attractant and a lot of people claim its worthless. This device is a complete scam and I am considering filing a complaint with the BBB and other consumer protection agencies. I will never buy another product from DynaTrap again.

All I could say is wow! I didn't know how well this was going to work because the light was nowhere near as bright as another version of the Dynatrap that I had (this little one replaced that one as it broke... although it worked well for 3 years). This little one is so nice, the light doesn't disturb you while you're sleeping but yet apparently it is bright enough to attract the bugs…it's like a soft night light. I just checked it, it's been 21 days since I started using it and I am amazed! This is plugged near my bathroom in the middle of the house… I live out in the country, so these little gnats and such are very common But they met their demise with the Dynatrap! Bye Bye Annoying Flying Bugs!!! And there is no scent emitted from this unit.

This product captured some a big bug, fly and gnats. When I used at another home, it captured over 10 gnats. I am satisfied with the results.

I live in Alabama near a storm drain and have had a serious mosquito problem. Every time I stepped outside, I was getting eaten alive. I know DynaTrap has mixed reviews, but I was desperate and decided to try the DT1050-AZSR with the Atrakta lure packet. I set it up yesterday and let it run continuously (as recommended). After just 24 hours, I checked it and was shocked — it had already caught a large number of mosquitoes. There are a few moths and other bugs, but it’s mostly mosquitoes. I’d estimate at least 40, possibly more. So far, I’m impressed. I’ll update after a week, but if you’re struggling with mosquitoes like I was, this is definitely worth trying.
