Great bug zapper. Deducted 1 star only because replacement bulb is kinda pricey and hard to find locally.

This unit will require 110-120VAC power supply which is not compatible with UAE. Had to purchase power converter to use this Bug Zapper. Seller have to include supply details.
Works well however.

So far so great. We’ve had this for just about a week and almost immediately noticed a decline in the mosquito population. While we were swarmed when we went outside, we now see only the occasional mosquito to the tune of the zap and sizzle in the background. It doesn’t seem like it’ll be all that easy to clean the bottom but it zaps mostly the smaller bugs and they fall through. I’ve added a mosquito attractant to help the little guys to make the right choice and go into the light. We have had a Dynatrap sucking version for a couple of years and really like it too. The electric version seems like it’s going to fill the gap on the bugs that the sucking version misses.

Michigan summers are full of mosquitoes and other flying insects. I keep this plugged in and it zaps very well. June bugs are best since it zaps for a long time. While my wife doesn’t like the zapping, I like it for keeping the flying critters at bay.

I purchased two of these since I live in a swamp. Everyday I need to use a can of compressed air to clean them out due to the amount of dead bugs on this. The grating keeps the larger moths from getting zapped but this is also a good thing. The moths have a habit of smoking a bit. The bottom grate is a bit narrow so things do get caught and are hard to clean. All in all no product will ever be perfect but this does very well for what it’s worth. One issue is the electrical cord is small so unless your putting it right by an outlet you’ll need an extension cord.
Pros:
Does what it needs to
Super bright to attract insects
Cons:
Electrical cord is small(12 inches) so extension cord is needed.
Grate at bottom is small openings

The first unit worked great for about five minutes, then it wouldn’t zap anymore even though the light was still on. Packaged it up to send back, and ordered a replacement. The second unit also worked great and passed the five-minute mark, so I went inside. I came back out an hour later and the zapping function had quit, just as before. Now I have both defective units boxed up to go back. I have a lot of bugs this season, so I’m guessing that in each case the cheap electronics that produce the high voltage “zapper” were not up to the task of zapping so many bugs and just burned out. If you have lots of bugs stay away from DynaZap and look for something more heavy duty.
