   I have other Dynatraps that I purchased in the past and the light was much brighter and actually lights up the room. They do no make my “older” model any more so I am trying this one and hope that the light is bright enough to attract all the insects that it claims.

   I was constantly getting fruit flies and gnats all around my kitchen and it was driving me crazy so I decided to get this little plug-in trap and I’m glad I did that works great. I think it got rid of 95% of my flies within a few days the itself is very discrete and small, which blends in well with my kitchen, it’s silent. There’s no buzzing or zapping or anything. I almost forget it’s there to set up an easy to use. You have to change the every now and then but I have yet to change it. Also, it’s odorless.

   Ok so my dog broke a window in my room and good god there’s so many flying mosquitos or flying insects these past couple nights annoying and biting me everywhere! So I finally plugged this baby in just 24 hours ago and the results are in the photo I’ve uploaded. Amazing. Unfortunately for me due to me not having a window till the window repair comes through later this week there are tons of bugs constantly coming in so I would need tons of these but as you can see it will DEFINITELY HELP! The set I got comes with one wall plug in and 2 sticky things. I highly recommend these and recommend you get a couple sets of the wall plug in at least so you can really attack your issue at hand!!! Note: if you have large flying bugs this will work but I’m thinking maybe won’t be able to catch tons because the entire sticky thing isn’t super big but who knows. See photo!

   This trap is very effective. It caught more bugs in the first night than apple cider vinegar + sugar + dish soap did in several weeks. A word of caution: When installing the sticky card, make sure to put the sticky side facing the light. I put it in the wrong way at first and then had a hell of a time trying to pry it back out. Other than that, it was easy to install, was very effective, and didn’t stink up the area like vinegar-based traps do.

   I can confirm that this works wonders! Just take a look at what this has caught in about 3 weeks. We had two traps going and the other was similar. These are great for trapping the gnats/fruit flies, but will not stop them from appearing. They are for control and not prevention. My wife and I love our house plants but had no idea that there a “fungal gnats” that can be brought in with plant soil. Turns out that one of the plants was infested when we bought it, and that was the source. We had to throw that one away to stop the issue for good. (Hopefully they haven’t laid eggs in our other plants…) Moral of the story, these things work for control, but also try and find the source of your problem whether it be a plant, some random fruit that rolled under the cabinet, or your trash to truly stop the issue.

    I have an older Dynatrap, about 4 years old, and needed new ones. This new one doesn’t work very well. I don’t know if the pads are old or if mfg changed something, but I’ve had them out for two weeks and have caught nothing, while my older one is loaded with gnats.

    Ever have that darn pesky fly that you can’t seem to kill…get this. We still try and are sometimes successful, but when we can’t kill it, I love checking this sticky pad in the morning to see a new fly stuck to it. They work. Also nice a bright so acts a nightlight as well. Catches fruit flies, gnats, you name it.

    I had the old-style Dynatrap plug-in. This new design is much better. It fixes the problems associated with the first version which had a lamp bulb that would break if you squinted at it. Plus, putting the sticky trap replacements was a nightmare. Dynatrap DT3007W has easy to insert traps and a much better lighting design. Someone working at the company finally decided enough was enough and brought a a new model.

    This Dynatrap is really pretty straightforward to use. Just peel off the paper on the sticky trap and insert into the unit then plug in to attract your pesky insects. The glue on the sticky trap is super sticky and thick like a mouse trap. The insects are lured in by the light and get trapped on the glue. I plan to only use this when those fruit flies are everywhere and so hard to get rid of.

    These fly traps work really well. They are very clever in how they operate because they have a sticky side on the back (facing the wall or outlet) and the device projects a blue light onto the wall which reflects onto the sticky side as well so when bugs go to investigate the light (which attracts them) they land on the sticky side and get stuck. Because of that design you don’t see a bunch of dead bugs like you do with hanging traps. Then after a time you just swap out the sticky pad and keep it going. Super easy to use. Highly recommend.
