   Ok so I just ordered this & it came in yesterday. I was excited to use it because I have another Dynatrap product that plugs into the wall & that one has worked great for me, especially during bug season. So I was very optimistic! When I placed the order, knowing from my other Dynatrap product, it would be cheaper if I bought a 3rd party sticky pad (& I am so glad I did in hindsight!) Because when I opened the box, I instantly thought to myself when seeing the one sticky pad provided, that the sticky part was only a tiny area of the pad itself, & I didn’t believe it would do a great job, & I was right! I also noticed that it works best at night when the only light that is on is the blue UV light, because it does not work at all with a lot of light around. Ok so let me get to my 1 star review! I knew it would work best at night, so when I woke up I went to check the kitchen area if there was any gnats flying around, & I didn’t see any! So I was like the trap must have worked! But when I went to open the trap to see all of them stuck on the pad, THEY ALL FLEW OUT! The pad itself only had about 2-3 gnats! They were all alive & well & couldn’t get out because the fan kept them in & the mesh cover! But I am more hopeful it will work better when I get the replacement sticky pads! I will update this review after but in the meantime it will absolutely receive 1 star from me. I hope this helps someone.

   This contraption far exceeded my expectations. I originally purchased this item when my baby was being discharged from the NICU because we had an untimely infestation of flies and mosquitos and I didn’t want my newborn to suffer. Believe the hype! I change the sticky pad every 2-3 weeks and it’s completely saturated with insects each and every time! This machine is a fruit fly’s worst enemy but it also clears the room of mosquitoes, house flies, knats, moths, and even flying ants! This bad boy is small and compact, durable, quiet, affordable, and the purple UV light makes for a neat night light. No more mosquito bites… a win is a win!

   This thing has caught a lot since I bought it. I need one for my house. This is in my office as I get a lot of flies, gnats, and mosquitoes. No issues coming out of the box. I unplug to check before opening to make sure it last long. Will likely change the pad after 1 month.

   Helpful for indoor vectors such as moths, mosquitos, and gnats.

   I was tired of having to use my flyswatter repeatedly when summertime comes around. As such I started using this indoor bug killer for the following benefits:

   Easy to clean, the bottom threads off, and I can empty the dead bugs directly into the trash

   Easy to use, I was able to buy mosquito attractant, and in combination with the glue pad, I am able to capture those dreaded bugs.

   Relatively quiet, it doesn’t make much noise and the small light on top that attracts with its UV isn’t horribly annoying.

   I’m happy to have this, it works well, and I have had no complaints with it. I have added it as a subscription and plan to put another one in my home to have better coverage.

   I ordered the DynaTrap DT152 after considering the Katchy fruit fly/gnat device. I ended up choosing the DynaTrap due to their company being established as well as the extra feature of creating a bit of CO2 to lure in bugs. In theory this should be a great trap for fruit flies and gnats. In practice, it’s only marginally better than a homemade trap of vinegar and soap. I’ve been running the DynaTrap in my bedroom but not when I’m sleeping– the way the light lure is designed, it’s way too bright for me to be comfortable trying to sleep. Secondly– the results. I have watched fruit flies sitting on my desk, right next to the DynaTrap while the light and CO2 are on, and they’re “just not that into” it, apparently. I’ve been running this trap for 6 days straight, nearly 24 hours a day, and I’m attaching a picture of the results. It seems to have caught a moth or two, but hardly any fruit flies or gnats. Again, this photo is showing the results from 6 days. I have personally killed more fruit flies with my bare hands than this trap has caught in that time period. Added to the fact that the sticky area on the DT152’s trap pads is just a lot smaller than other brands such as Katchy, I really can’t recommend this trap as a serious solution to a fruit fly or gnat problem.

   I can’t believe it works. Every product or “trick” I’ve seen on the internet never gets rid of mosquitoes. This thing is amazing. First night it caught 5 mosquitoes. I put mine on the kitchen counter by the sink. I haven’t had a problem with mosquitoes since. Everyday I look in it and see another mosquito it caught. It’s bad enough I get bit outside but I shouldn’t have to deal with it in my home.

   I bought the small one because I thought it was a miniature of the large one. This is just a fan with a light on top that has fly paper inside. It may catch flies, but it attracts everything because the light is so bright. Some really loud bug has been trapped in there for a week and I’m waiting for it to die before I open it. Save yourself the headache and just get the large zapper.

    The picture is for just over 2 weeks of use. It works great for us. We replace the first stick pad with yellow fly trap sticky pad and use the pad that came with it as a template and cut out a new sticky circle pad. You can buy a bunch for $9

    Very disappointing. We bought this due to severe fruit fly problem in kitchen. It trapped less than 10 flies in 48 hours. We also hung old- fashioned yellow sticky strips. I also made fruit fly traps with apple cider vinegar, rotting fruit, etc. Both these trapped more fruit flies than the device. The fan works but isn’t very powerful.

    This thing works! After the first night in my bedroom I counted 29 no-see-ums stuck to the sticky pad at the bottom. The little bugs are almost too small to see, but they leave a nasty bite. We live in the Sierra foothills and how they get into our house in such numbers I’ll never know. Normally I wake up with bites anywhere I am not covered. I have owned similar devices, but this is the first that has a near-silent quality fan. I do have to say that the tuned black light is very bright. I had to block the light from spilling over to my bed. It makes a nice nightlight. That said, I rate it at 5 Stars!

    It’s been capturing the mystery flying bugs in my bathroom and other bonus bugs since day 1. The fan is a little on the loud side but I’m sensitive to sounds so ymmv. It’s compact and fits into a corner and does the job. Works best in a dark room.

    This is the best and most efficient fly catching device I have ever encountered. It works flawlessly and produces consistent results no matter which part of the house I place it in. Acmust-have especially if you tend to use outdoor soil to grow indoor plants.     Great gadget! It’s pretty quiet and very helpful! My wife and I would wake up itchy and couldn’t figure out why. We would see little mosquitoes or gnats once in awhile. I finally found this and tried it! It’s amazing. We haven’t had any issues with bites anymore. The blue light is a little bright when trying to fall asleep, but you can put something in front of it, like a picture frame and it works great!
