   Je l’ai testé pendant un mois et maintenant je suis sûr à 100 % qu’il n’attire pas les moustiques. Il n’attire que les papillons de nuit et les petites mouches à cause de la lumière, mais si j’avais besoin d’un anti-mouches, j’achèterais simplement un anti-insectes moins cher. Au cours de cette période de test où la machine n’a capturé aucun moustique, j’ai attrapé et tué manuellement 7 ou 8 moustiques. Les moustiques sont passés devant l’appareil et se sont retrouvés dans ma chambre.

   We have, well had lol, quite a mosquito problem on our front porch and saw this tiny Dynatrap and thought ‘what the hell why not’. It actually worked better than I expected! Mind you this is on a pretty small not-very-open front porch, like enough seating for 3, and it was hung on the ceiling which is where all the mosquitos were too. The picture is about 2 days of it running 24/7. The build quality does honestly look kinda cheap, but I haven’t had any problems with anything mechanically or what-not, and the bottom casing that holds the bugs that clicks onto the rest of the trap does feel solid. No complaints so far! I honestly would not expect this kind of result on average, but we had what looked like 100 or maybe more mosquitos condensed onto the front porch, but it still worked so dang I’m all for that!

   O…M….G… I have been plagued with flies coming inside this season due to the early heat I supposed. I’ve never experienced such a fly problem in my life. I have tried every type of fly shatter imaginable, but they all break as I probably kill 100 flies per day which equates to 500 swats as I’m not very good at it. I also bought some of those sticky things to set on the counter and around the house to catch them and catch them they did, but didn’t put a dent into the problem. Then I received this little gem. I thought it wouldn’t work worth a flip as it is tiny and the suction didn’t seem all that much. I doubted it would catch as many flies as the stickie things, but I set it up because any fly it catches is one less I have to swat. The instructions say to NOT put it by a competing light source, but I did. I placed it right beside my little Aerogarden that sets on my counter. I placed it so the top of the fly catcher’s light would be about even with the light on the Aerogarden because I can’t live without my Aerogarden and that is where the majority of the flies congregate because of the light. It is also hanging close to the door and many flies that come in the door go straight to the fly catcher and get eaten immediately. It was stunning. The flies flying under my Aerogarden light just zipped right over to the flycatcher and got sucked in immediately. Just zip… zip… zip… and they were gone. Although I just saw it catch about 30 flies in a few minutes, I still had no expectations of it completely eliminating my fly problem. It’s been a week now and I have yet to have to swat a single fly. Flies do still fly into the RV we are living in for the summer, but after just a bit, they go to my Aerogarden and then they fairly quickly checkout the light on the bug catcher and ZIP! They’re gone. It also got rid of all the fruit flies that were coming up out of my sink drain. We’re having an insane mosquito season due to the extreme TX heat, but I haven’t had a single one come inside and bite me. I assume SOME have had to come inside when we go in and out of the door often. If so, the bug eater got them as nobody has been bitten inside the RV. We are in love with this little darling and ecstatic that we purchased it and ended our fly problem. I intended to buy more of them if it worked fairly well, but it has been unnecessary as this single one is getting them all. I highly recommend this baby if you have an RV. I assume it would work well in a home as well and intend to try it there when we return.

   ★★★★★ I was very skeptical when getting this, BUT it works!! I have only had it a couple of days and I have to say the fruit fly problem is gone. We do a lot of juicing and have fruit on hand at all times, along with that comes the fruit flies, and midges. We wash the fruit when we get it home and still they are there. Extremely quiet Attracts them by UV light, and CO2 generation. Two nights, and gone. Put it on the kitchen counter, two nights later you can see them all in there. Problem solved. Get one or two. I’m getting my money out of it. THANKS DYNATRAP —UPDATE— With summer time in Florida comes the all mighty Mosquito…The kids are in and out leaving doors open and there were a few really fast little buggers that defied swatting. This morning we finally found them…IN THE TRAP!!! We are getting another for the kids room We also have the large one for out doors, we put it away from where we sit around the corner by the AC and hedges. Mosquito alley. After a week we can actually go through that area the trap is full of the little buggers. Do not be in a hurry to clean it out as they attract other females to the trap. We are very happy with this unit. We can take back our yard without chemicals. I like the one on the pole as we can move it inside for the off season.    I LOVE Dynatraps! We have the full size one for our backyard and this little one for our porch. It works amazing but a couple things to note about his little one: It needs to be fairly close to an outlet as the cord is pretty short (I didn’t read the fine print and thought it was battery operated); Read the instructions for best placement and emptying the trap. You can’t just turn it off! Because all the buggos are not actually killed, just trapped by the downward air pressure, if you unplug it and they’re not dead, they’ll fly right back out. Made this mistake when bringing it inside before a storm (this little one isn’t weatherproof), but luckily I plugged it back in the kitchen for 30 minutes and all the mosquitos flew right back in it. If you’re thinking about getting a Dynatrap, I highly recommend buying the larger weather proof versions first and this one as a smaller add on. The big ones collect a TON more and having them running 24/7 stops the mosquito lifecycle so your space ultimately has less. One last thing – we put our big one right next to a window we’ve struggled with wasps nests in for the past two years, and there isn’t one this summer! Wasn’t expecting it to fix that but was pleasantly surprised when it did. tl;dr – Buy the little one as a suppliement got covered porches, buy the big one for serious bug control.

   We have screened doors and windows, but during the summer we still get occasional flys, moths, etc. in the house. This year our area experienced a rash of (Aedes Aegypti) mosquitos and enough started getting inside to be a real annoyance. So I bought a DynaTrap DT150 as a test, then five more to distribute through the house. They did a great job of catching a wide variety of flying creatures. We still had the occasional mosquito that refused to be trapped, so we thought that maybe the traps were not working — but when I emptied them out at the end of the summer I found a satisfyingly large number of mosquitos. I tried a couple of different mosquito attracting packets, and it seems like the Atrakta product did the best. But I can’t really be sure that it was all that helpful. Maybe I’ll do some experiments next summer. The fan is quiet, though quite noticeable in a quiet room, but is a low frequency so not annoying. The product is thoughtfully designed, with a number of small but convenient details that make it very easy to use. It is also well made, and looks like it will last. Attached is a picture of the summer’s catch from 5 traps. Note that our house lets very few flying bugs in, and also that being all clumped together you don’t clearly see how many bugs there really are. I’m looking forward to trying them again next summer, and will be very interested to see how they do with pantry and closet moths.

   I live near a river in Southern California. This summer we had an Aedes problem and they are active in elevator shafts and in our subterranean parking structure. The pros are this does not use chemicals. The “natural” Murphys incense sticks give me a headache when burned indoors. This device is rated at 300 sq. ft. which means if you are getting bit at night you might want to keep it near your bed stand. That does not guarantee repellant. Also the white noise fan humming sounds like a heated laptop. I have about 1 mosquito per 1000 sq. ft. so it took approximately 72 hours to trap the one mosquito. I had an annoying house fly in my room at night. It did trap a fly fairly well, the fan chopped it up. But I had carry the lantern to the fly and shut off the lights for the fly to see the light and want to fly in. It didn’t not work on the first try. I guess you can say that this device works, but I was expecting cup fulls of dried up mosquitos ready to be used for fertilizer in my garden. For the price I paid, I guess 3/5 is decent. Maybe 3.25/5 for the design of the canister. 4/5 if you consider all other alternatives.

    This has worked well trapping these pesky mosquitoes in my garage. This is more a controlled environment than outdoors. I also use lactic acid as an attractant. This trap will not catch 100% of the bugs, I estimate about 80%. The pictures are from the beginning of summer after the spring rains and early fall after a hot dry summer. Effective in the garage, not as effective outdoors.
