   Es para exteriores y debe colocarse en un lugar oscuro o sombreado y lejos de la gente por que si no los mosquitos van a preferir a la gente.

   The ‘bug sucker’ DynaTrap works! I like to garden and usually get eaten up by mosquitos. I’m often the only one in a group to get eaten alive. However, since the trap has been in use, I haven’t been bitten once. Some things to know: The trap remains on nonstop. There’s a fan that makes noise, but it’s not any more loud than a small desk fan. It discharges carbon dioxide, attracting insects by mimicking human breath. The fan sucks them into the slots, then down to the basket below, where they eventually die. For that reason, it’s a challenge to empty the basket, because weak but living mosquitos will invariably escape. I caught over a cup of insects in one week. The cord is nice and long, and it has to be plugged in to operate. The unit is easy to click on and off by twisting the entire middle portion. It’s weather-resistant and the basket is large. This particular unit covers a 1/2 acre. There isn’t any zapping, light sparks, or loud noises. Position it head-high, rather than on a low table. The one thing that I wish that I’d known is that ALL types of mites and parasitic bugs will think that they’re going to a rock show. This is a beacon for the gross creepy crawlies, and it is a possibility that they will congregate and buzz the trap. Not all of them make it inside the basket, making the area outside a potential hazard! I got close to it, squinting to see what I had caught, when I saw what looked like stains on the outside of the metal basket sections. I ‘dusted’ it off with my hands, and it turns out that it was mites that promptly tried to relocate on me! I had never had contact with something like that before. For this reason, I would highly recommend that you situate your trap away from all human and animal traffic to totally avoid revved up insects. Prepare to generally leave it undisturbed. Highly recommended!

   Having traded a few messages with them they have basically said no, we are not prepared to do anything about. Incredible show of appalling customer service. No phone number available, just dismissive emails stating they will do nothing about.

   Absolutely disgusting for a £216 product.

   The DynaTrap DT1050SR is indeed quiet. And it does seem to attract and kill lots of bugs (mainly moths) However I am not sure it does a better job than other bug “zappers” on the market. And you don’t get that satisfying sizzle when the other trap and fry a big ‘ol bug. 🙂 More importantly, the bulb only lasted 3 months. Pretty expensive investment if you buy more bulbs or not. Part of what helps this I think, is that I have the Flowtron on a light sensor, so it turns off during the day and doesn’t wear out the bulb as quickly. This DynaTrap does not let you do that. It must remain on to kill the bugs slowly. If you turn it off the bugs can escape and you have to catch them again. If they had a way to keep the fan going when the bulb was off this just might be a bug killer I could recommend. But at this time I think there are better deals out there. If you like it quiet and don’t mind changing bulbs every 4 months (recommended) or more often, then it is probably a good one.

   These work!!! I had my 2 units 2 yrs before using them; this year we had record numbers of mosquitos, including lots of the large striped black ones. Even with wearing insect repellent, we were getting multiple bites soon after siting or walking outside. I wish I’d used these in prior years – they are awesome!! And no chemicals or zappers! Our property adjoins a seasonally swampy area, and these work!! Reviews recommended leaving them up for a few weeks before expecting noticeable reduction. By the 2nd day, we noticed substantial reduction. We’ve had them up about 5 days. As expected, we still have mosquitos, but noticeably fewer every day. We plan on leaving them up all season, and are ordering a 3rd unit. Next season, we should see even fewer; we dump about 1/2 cup of mosquitos every other day, and those will NOT be reproducing for next year. And we will hook up the units much earlier in the season. Looking forward to being outside & enjoying our yard this summer!!

   As other reviews caution – these units work by drawing mosquitos to the unit; and they do a great job of attracting mosquitos to their destruction – so don’t put them close to where you si, putting yourself in the path of the mosquitos en route to the unit

   I bought this product for £270. Once it arrived and switched on it made a huge bang and sizzle and would not work. I paid £45 to return it to the USA which was not detailed with purchase over 6 weeks ago. I’ve now been informed that the seller has left dynatrapoutlet.com therefore they cannot help me with outstanding refund. Yet you can still buy the product. DONT !!! Over £300+ lost.    These are great, the only part that is gross it the clean up. I’ve seen a noticeable difference in the number of mosquitos. I live in a heavily wooded, tree, shade/bush area (see pictures). My biggest recommendation is to make sure you get rid of any sitting water that reduced our problem by 50%. I had to drill small holes in our roof gutters as they weren’t draining completely. Another issue I think some people who complain about it not working need to read how to effectively deploy these. I put this device in areas where I get flocked by mosquitos (it’s near our pool equipment, prior to deployment I’d get 10-15 on me within seconds) but about 20ft away from where we will be. Most mosquitos don’t travel more than 25-40ft from where they hatch. The instructions say to put this 20ft from where you will be, so I put this in vegetation that sits near the pool where I think many of the mosquitos come from. I then went on the other side of the pool and put another Dynatrap about 20ft from where we would be. I have a huge yard (1.5acres) so I figured having two would be enough. We get a TON of bugs, fyi. The mosquito lifecycle is around 6weeks so for maximum effectiveness this needs to run for 5 more weeks but I’d say I’m happy with my purchase. Remember that these are only as effective as how you deploy them! Also make sure the area doesn’t have a competing light source. So this is in an extremely dark area at night with no other light so it is a huge beacon. Good luck.
