   Our bulb had burned out in our Dynatrap, and this worked great to replace it. Lots of small screws on ours to take top off and access the bulb. Not really hard – just seems they could’ve made it easier since you Will have to change out the bulbs!

   I loved my Dyno trap and customer service was good. Purchased replacement bulb for my Dyno trap and it is defective. Followed dynatrapoutlet.com’s return policy for this item which was contact the company. Talked to the company representative who was difficult to understand him, and he had difficulty understanding me for this simple problem. Long story short he said that my bulb would be replaced by the 10th, and I have not received the bulb and I’m not even sure if he had my information correct to send the replacement bulb. This is a terrible situation, still need the bulb and very disappointed in this company. Will never purchase another Dynotrap item.

   I am disgusted with the time wasted and money wasted on a product that worked a few months, cost over $120+ and an additional $70+ in light bulbs that do not work. I loved this product for the first few months but it does not have successful replacement bulbs.

   There was no way this bulb was going to arrive intact the way it was packaged. Now I have to go out of my way to return this.

   No instructions for how to replace this bulb and it was not fun. You should be able to reach through the openings to remove the protective shield and remove the bulb, but that is just not possible. I tried multiple times. Instead, I had to remove the top shell (8 tiny sheet metal screws) and then top plate (3 more tiny screws). Then I had to remove the bulb shield (1 screw) and then the bulb retainer screws (2 more screws). And then, unable to reach the bulb housing, I tugged on the bulb, only to have it fall apart in my hand (see photo). TERRIBLE design. It took me 8 minutes to disassemble with a power screw driver and 15 to put it back together. The top lid is very difficult to align. NOTE: Mark the top cover with some white paint or white out, so you know how to realign it. Terrible design. And one the second unit, I tried to lower the bulb assembly from the top (4 more screws), only to have the connecting wires come off !? I have several of each of the smaller units and they aren’t much fun to change out the bulb, but this one was by far the most difficult. At least use thumb screws and find a way to change the bulb without removing the top assemply. That’s just wrong and who wants to do that every 41 days ?

   If you don’t gave on of these Dyna traps, get one and be prepared with how many annoying bugs it captures. The light is on 24/7 at our place and it lasts for 6 months!

    When I first set out to replace the bulb in my trap two years ago, I had a heck of a time finding somewhere to buy them that was not outrageously priced. I have since used those bulbs and began the search again, but this time here they are on dynatrapoutlet.com at a price you would expect. They work great even if it is a little hard to replace the bulb, but that is not the bulb’s fault.

    It’s a little bit tricky to change out this bulb, but you don’t need any tools. Just three screws that you can twist out with your fingers. Our original bulb lasted about a year and half. This one is a good replacement so far. Working well.
