   It worked till it didn’t. It only lasted a year then it gave out but it was great when it worked, although I would not recommend it in your bedroom but maybe your kids bedroom b’cause the light on it is hella bright.

   I purchased this back in April and was going to return it because I wasn’t seeing anything on it. I later decided to keep it, because I liked it as a night light. Today July 10, I ‘m noticing little knatts in my face. I go in search of a different brand, but decided to check the dynotrap one last time. To my shock, surprise, and joy, it was covered with knatts and big flies. At first I was afraid to get it, it looked so disgusting. Finally got I just decided to get it and threw it away quickly; hence why I have no photo or video to post. I think it was too full and that’s why I noticed the knatts today. I got my refill in, and my phone alarm to alert me in 7 days. Instructions say check ever 21 days, but I don’t want it to overload like it was today.
   I took away 1 star because it didn’t start working immediately.

   I have these and have been using them for a few years now ..They really do work and you get lots of Flies etc. sticking to them . I replace them with New Sticky Boards when full of flying insects and they really work for me for quite a while . They get stuck and cannot get off. The blue lights plugged in , entice them to fly onto them .

   I love these Dynatraps. A great invention and the sticky pads last for a long time. I was changing them every 30 days, but realized that they can go a few months. Highly recommend this if you have anything whatsoever flying around your home from drain flies to wasps. Fun to look from time to time to see what it catches too!

    Easy to use. It’s basically like one of those Glade plug-ins, but for fruit flys and gnats. It has changeable sticky panels, so when it gets enough fruit flies, just change up the sticky panel. The first couple days no fruit flies or gnats, but checked back in a week and probably 25-30 on there. Noticed they pretty much disappeared from the kitchen. Added bonus is the blue light puts out just enough of a blue light that it doubles as a mini night light. With this plugged in, I can use this and my iPhone charger and they both fit into a standard outlet.

    After thinking the wrong item was sent, I realized I ordered a refill pack for $13. This is not the starter kit. Going back to look i noticed the “frequently returned item” message along with finding the plug-in for $18. That’s an $18 nope. Take the concept and make something within the same UV nm range and save a bit or enjoy the value in being able to customize. Be sure to make something that won’t slowly strain your eyes or catch on fire. I just happened to have an extra uv light from a shelf not being used in my uranium cabinet. Used some poster frame trim, cardstock, and found a piece of tyvek left from a sewing template I made to cover the middle. Providing a photo to show my mega example but I plan to relocate this closer to the wall in my closet. Since they are LEDs, they shouldn’t get too hot but I will supervise it. I will see how many fungus gnats I can catch in the plant kitchen first. The main point- $18 is a lot for a simple plug in retrofitted to hold a sticky card and i wonder how many others thought they were ordering a kit. I imagine, for $18, you can get multiple uv plug ins and modify them with something you have in the house already. I made mine in less than 10 minutes.
